Iron Man

Iron Man

I have decide to rewatch all the films with Iron man in them as its coming up to the UK release date of Iron Man 3 which is on the 25th April 2013.
So over the next few days expect to see more from Iron Man, including the Avengers film.

Tony Stark is the complete playboy who also happens to be an engineering genius. While in Afghanistan demonstrating a new missile, he's captured and wounded. His captors want him to assemble a missile for them but instead he creates an armored suit and a means to prevent his death from the shrapnel left in his chest by the attack. He uses the armored suit to escape. Back in the U.S. he announces his company will cease making weapons and he begins work on an updated armored suit only to find that Obadiah Stane, his second in command at Stark industries has been selling Stark weapons to the insurgents. He uses his new suit to return to Afghanistan to destroy the arms and then to stop Stane from misusing his research. Written by John Vogel {}

This film is the film that really started the relationship of love that I have with Marvel. Was the first film that I'D seen in ages that I thought wow I could really get behind this guy. This was pretty much my favourite film whilst I was a teenager, and to be fair I still love to watch this film when it comes on the TV or if I want cheering up. It shows you that no matter how bad a situation gets you can always make something amazing from it. So the main charator in this film is Tony Stark played by Robert Downey Jr. this was the first film I'd seen Robert Downey Jr in and honestly it made me inspire to be like him, I love his acting style and the way he plays Tony Stark, I don't think anyone could play it quite like him. The way the film has been filmed and directored is brilliant this film really started the Marvel extravaganisa that we have today. As you can probably tell I love this film and I hope you will to, its a brilliant film for anyone 12 and up, little bits of violence but very manageable.

I'll give this film a 10/10 just because it started the story for so many great films and Iron Man is my favourite Superhero. Just so I don't sway you to much , IMDB have given this film an 8/10 just so you can compare. They must have been holding out for the sequel. Which I'll review later this week.
