A fine art auctioneer mixed up with a gang joins forces with a hypnotherapist to recover a lost painting. As boundaries between desire, reality and hypnotic suggestion begin to blur the stakes rise faster than anyone could have anticipated. Written by Fox Searchlight

Trance is a film along the lines of inception, one that your'll have to think through and ponder what is the real plot, what is real and what is a charade. Because of this the film is gripping and nail biting. As the true is only unveiled in the final few minutes. The film is another Danny Boyle master piece his direction on films is second to not with his creative insight, he makes some strange films but I'll tell you that this one works well. One of his better films I will say. And again this is the second film recently out staring James McAvoy as a leading character, but I'm really starting to like his style, he is definitely a great actor with a lot of ability.

I will say a warning that this film is set as a 15 but I don't know whats happening with the ratings as this have a lot of gore, strong language and full frontal nudity. Really not sure how they could make it a 15 but that what its been given. If you are going to take people under 18 you've been warning. If this is whats going to pass for a 15 it says a lot about society. And I wonder how they could possible make an 18 as this wasn't far off the limits.

Anyways I really enjoyed the film to which I say give it a 8/10. Well worth a watch.
